The Mono Ski - So That Everyone can Ride

There are two different types of mono skis. The first is the adaptive skiing model of a mono ski which allows people with disabilities to enjoy skiing by using equipment where the person can sit down which look like the sidecars that are attached to motorcycles. The other type of mono ski is a wide ski that comes equipped with two forward facing bindings.

The mono ski has a variety of different manufacturers which means that the mono ski has a variety of designs but consist of the same components. Some components of the mono ski that you will see used include the following:

The main people who use the mono ski are those who have been affected by a spinal cord injury, polio, an amputee, brain trauma, multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular diseases, cerebral palsy and muscular dystrophy.

Mono skis are excellent versions of a blend of skiing and snowboarding for people that cannot enjoy the full use of their legs. With the mono ski, everyone can enjoy the slopes.
