Kevin Pearce is a talented snowboarder who is taking on the snowboarding world head first. He is a twenty year old professional snowboarder who resides in Norwich in Vermont. He has been competing since 2004 but has been shaking up the competitive snowboarding world mainly in 2007 and has been exploding so far in 2008. Here is the "short" list of his top three positions for 2006 through 2008.
If that is not enough to prove that Kevin Pearce is the hot, new snowboarding commodity that everyone is talking about, look at what this young man has done in the 2008 snowboarding season. He may have not won gold at the 2008 Winter X Games XII but he is the first competitor to ever compete in three medal events in one day in which he also placed in every single one. He won one bronze medal in the Superpipe and two silver medals in the Big Air and the Slopestyle. He then went on to win the gold at the Artic Challenge in 2008. This was his second consecutive win in Oslo.
Pearce has even made his snowboarding film debut in "Picture This" from Mack Dawg Productions and "Thanks in Advance" in the Burton Team video. He is sponsored by Burton as well as by Oakley, Zune, Volcom Streetwear, Friends, Sobe and Embassi.
