Freeze TV - They Capture it All

Freeze TV is an innovative television series that is broadcasted on TV networks in Australia and New Zealand. This series is an exciting and vibrant magazine formatted TV series that captures the best riders in the field of snowboarding and skiing in the more famous (and not so famous) tournaments and events that take place all around the world. As Freeze TV says "There's always a winter somewhere." The Freeze TV crew is based in New Zealand, in the Southern Alps.

This television series has filmed over seventy televised episodes over six seasons and it is entering its seventh. It is on three times a week on Sky Sports which is broadcasted in New Zealand. It also holds a Prime time TV slot on Saturdays on Sky Sports. The Freeze TV series has been recently added to Australia's TV line up on the Fuel TV network, a sports channel. Some of the venues that Freeze TV has covered include the following events:

• The 2006 Winter Olympic Games - Italy
• Australian Snowboard Open - Australia
• Free Ski Open - New Zealand
• Euro Snowboard Open - Switzerland
• World Super Pipe - United States
• Interski - Korea

On June 4th, 2008, broadcasting on Sky Sport will commence with the Freeze's Northern Winter Tour. A preview of the episodes includes filming in Whistler Blackcomb, Bella Coola, Revelstoke, and Red Mountain in British Columbia in Canada. Freeze TeleVision then moves the tour to Japan, St, Anton Austria and ends in Colorado, USA. Freeze TV is a must watch for all your fellow snowboarders out there. This crew knows their stuff.
