David Benedek - Pro Snowboarder and Pro Producer

David Benedek was born in 1980 in Munich Germany. The 28 year old is known as one of the best Freestyle Snowboarders in the world. This can be confirmed by the huge amount of tournaments and competitions that Benedek has won. However, it must run in his genes because his big brother, Boris Benedek is also a professional snowboarder who helped to pave the way for his little bro. Here is an extensive list of the tournaments and honors that Benedek has won and has been bestowed over the years:

In 2002, Benedek won the 2002 Burton European Open
In 2003, he won the Nokia Air & Style Big Air Competition
Named Snowboarder Magazine's Rider of the Year for 2003 and 2004
Named Snowboarder Magazine's Best Video Part of the year for 2004
Named Transworld Readers Poll Standout of the Year for 2006
In 2006, he was awarded the Best Trick award at the Red Bull Gap Session.

The list of awards continues for Benedek once you switch over to his professional producing ventures. He was the co-founder of the company Robot Food which was established in 2002. He served as both art director and co director for Robot Food. After gaining experience in this company, he and his brother ventured into another project and founded the Blank Paper Studio which is a production Company.
