Since the early part of this decade the Elan Snowboard has been making a real name for itself. But the company's motto of living and breathing snowboarding has been around for some time. This is because the Elan Snowboard product range itself is fairly new to the market. But the expertise that is used in such design and manufacture has been around for years. Namely as part of one of the largest high-tech factories in the world. In these factories they have consistently (and still do) made great product ranges for other bigger companies.
Elan is very hopeful that their Artec Project snowboards - the Artec 1.1 and Artec 1.2 - are going to revolutionize freestyle snowboarding, and with it the fortunes of Elan Snowboard. As it happens, the Artec 1.1. is a kicking freelance snowboard, with specific shape and flex in order to make landing and board control easier. Whilst the Artec 1.2 is earmarked as being a Railboard for the wildest jibbers under the sun. The Artec 1.2 has been especially designed with rounded edges and a toughened base between the bindings that allows the user of the board to be able to do neat tricks with smaller chance of anything going wrong.
Following on from the Elan Snowboard Project will be the Quantum Series program: boards which focus on freeriding, whilst at the same time giving the Elan Snowboard riders what they expect when they pay for such quality.
