Want to step-in and go? Consider trying K2 snowboard boots clickers

K2 Snowboarding made its first snowboard in 1987. In the1995-1996 season, K2 Snowboarding introduced the first step-in binding, called the Clicker Step-In System. Thanks to K2 snowboard boots clickers, snowboarders of all ages and levels can simply step-in and go.

What are K2 snowboard boots clickers?

The Clicker Step-In System, known as "clickers," is a binding system that allows the snowboarder's boots to press in and attach to the snowboard bindings automatically. The other alternative: strap-in bindings. With strap-in bindings, the snowboarder must reach down and manually close the straps across his or her boots to keep the boots securely in place on the board.

K2 snowboard boots clickers versus strap-ins

Clickers dominate the market over strap-in bindings, but there are those who are critical of clickers. Some users claim that clickers don't provide as much ankle support as strap-in bindings. In addition, clickers may pop out of the bindings more easily than strap-ins. Finally, clickers can become clogged with snow, making easy step-in nearly impossible.
