ONeill Snowboard Jackets - An Overview For You

While O'Neill is perhaps best known for its line of summer sports products, the company isn't exclusively devoted to the world of sun, sand, and surf. Evidence to this fact can be found in its line of oneill snowboard jackets. In fact, their International, Explore, and Freedom ranges are suitable for most any snow-based activity and conditions, not just snowboarding. International represents the most advanced protection available in the line, offering 20,000mm waterproofing, 13,000gm breathability and a host of other features designed to shield you from the harshest backcountry elements. All this comes at a price however, and an International O'Neill jacket will set you back in the region of $290.

At $220, the Explore series is cheaper. Commensurate with its price are lower specs: only 12K waterproofing and 8K breathability. Though this is still plenty sufficient for all but the most extreme of users. Finally, the Freedom range represents the most extensive collection with five different variants available for purchase (International and Explore have only three). At the low-end one of these will set you back around $130 while a higher-end Freedom jacket will cost about $170. And as you might expect by now these come with yet still lower specs, around 8K waterproofing and 5K breathability.
