It's hard to say which part of your snowboarding gear is the most important. Without your snowboard you wouldn't be able to actually do anything. Without your boots and bindings you'd spend more time off your board than on it, and without your snowboarding jacket you'd probably freeze to death long before you ever perfected that Method Air. There are of course cheaper jacket options ($60 or so at the really lower-end), but the fact of the matter is that they don’t have iPod support, and well, men just love gadgets.
