Technology and expertise are without a doubt the cornerstone of any snowboard design, but the 'cool factor' plays an undeniable role in any snowboard's appeal. That is to say, if it doesn't look good, chances are people won't like it. And that's where snowboard graphics and designs come into play. It is through these that riders are able to distinguish themselves and their boards, to convey to others some sense of their own uniqueness. And while store-bought boards offer styles and designs to suit every taste, decals are a great way to further customize your board and to make it truly one of a kind. And what better way to gussy up your Burton snowboard than with burton snowboard decals? It may look kinda weird putting Burton decals on another make of board, but hey, to each his own.
Burton's UnInc (which stands for 'unincorporated') brand decals are among the company's most pervasive and include everything from the ubiquitous piggy bank with an 'X' on it (ostensibly, this represents what the UnInc brand stands for: fun, not profit) to Burton corporate logos to pretty much everything in between. One thing to remember though is that the design of the decal or vinyl sticker may look cool, but it's really what it looks like on your board that matters. Which is where a proper application technique comes in.
First off, make sure the surface of your board is clean and free of dust particles as well as liquids and such. Once clean, check the positioning of the decal (before applying!) and make sure it's straight (assuming you want it straight), properly aligned and centered. If you're satisfied with the position and orientation of the sticker, you may begin applying the decal. Do not remove the entire backing at once, but instead, only an inch or so at a time, carefully rubbing it down (best to use a tool specifically designed for the purpose) while making sure that no air bubbles are trapped underneath. Remember, once applied the board decal will not easily be removed, so take your time and do it properly.
For everything Burton, from Anon to R.E.D to UnInc, whether it's Burton vinyl stickers or UnInc decals -- and the boards to apply them to! -- the right-hand side links can get you what you need. Now, now, one at a time, please!
