All About The Women’s Foxie Lamar Snowboard

Okay, you've decided you want a Lamar Foxie snowboard and nothing else will do. Great. We're assuming of course that you're a woman. If you're not, we'll just pretend that you found the board by accident and, well, you know, you were just interested 'tis all. Or it's a present for your girlfriend. Yeah, that's it! A present. Sure. That'll play. But we digress, you want a women's foxie lamar snowboard because it offers all-mountain performance, women-specific flex and geometry (getting the picture yet guys!) and specialty metallic ink and UV mirror finish.

You want it because it utilizes patented bullet cap construction, versaflex full-wood core, energy transmission frame technology, and triaxial fiberglass. Actually, no-one cares about that. What you care about is that it looks good, feels good, and rides even better. Yeah, it's all about results and nothing will satiate you until you get your mitts on a foxie snowboard. Not an Ainjel, not a Storm or a Whisper, and certainly not a Fascination or Merlot. You want a Foxie. And if you didn't, hopefully you do now. Not that it matters really, we're just here to help make things easier, and maybe teach you a little something along the way.

And speaking of teaching, you may want to learn (just in case) what all that fancy terminology means for you, the wonderfully talented boarder that you are. The energy transmission frame (ETF) creates a custom flex by leveraging different glass, cores and topsheets in the design of the board, while the versaflex design provides a softer, flexible women’s Foxie Lamar snowboard that is more forgiving and easier to ride. Perfect for the entrance-level crowd at which it is aimed. Part of the whole bullet cap construction process is the extruded 1000 base, a durable material that requires little maintenance. And that just can't be a bad thing. And the metallic finish? That's just makes for a flashier image in the sunlight. Yeah, well, we don't make 'em, we just tell you about them.

Apparently it was Tricia Byrnes -- regarded as the most successful female snowboarder on the halfpipe in the US -- or should we say, her dedication and hard work, that inspired the Lamar line of snowboards, of which the ladies Lamar Foxie board is but one. But then, you knew that already, didn't you? Designed for beginner and intermediate female riders, the Foxie Lamar women's snowboard is functional and affordable (around $250 brand new, but can be found for less) and a reasonable entry-level choice for relative newcomers to the sport. The boards are available in four sizes:

That length is, quite naturally, in centimeters. If you're looking for a lamar girls snowboard for the younger enthusiasts in your family; a snowboard for your significant other; or even one for yourself, the links to the right of this article will help you find not only Lamar Foxie boards but virtually every other brand and model your heart desires and your wallet (or purse, as the case may be) can handle.
